Tell us about you:
I’m Holly. I have a curious mind so naturally, I love exploring, meeting new people, seeing new things, understanding the world around me better and constantly learning! I’ve recently graduated from university with a Bachelor of Communication (majoring in Advertising). Through my studies and by helping the wider marketing team at WAB, I’ve come to realise that I am so passionate about PR and Influencer Marketing. I love staying active so I always make sure I make time for the gym, outdoor walks and runs. I’m all about the good vibes, so I do also enjoy going to music festivals with my friends.
Tell us about your journey with WAB:
So I joined Freddy in August 2019. I started off as a Sales Assistant at Freddy Chadstone whilst studying at uni. Then in October 2020 I spoke to Joel and Noni and expressed my interest in joining the HQ team. Joel and Noni presented me with an Office Assistant opportunity. They gave me this opportunity as they knew I had a passion for learning and they thought it would be a good stepping stone to compliment my studies as well. In this role I was able to support the wider marketing team with various tasks. I cannot explain to you how much I’ve learned as a result of this. Marketing is such a broad area so as I started supporting each of our specialists more, it really helped me identify what area of marketing that interests me the most (PR and Influencer Marketing).
Having recently graduated from uni, I have now recently taken on a new full time opportunity as Influencer and Social Media Assistant. I seriously cannot wait to see what the future holds for me! I’m just so thankful that I can progress within the business.
Why do you love working at WAB?
Oh my goodness, where do I start?! There are so many things! I think one that stands out most to me though is the people. We are a supportive bunch and we really work well together. Everyones ideas are heard, we laugh a lot and do loads of fun things as a group.

Aside from the people, I love the dinners, social activities, meditation sessions…. the list seriously goes on!
What advice do you have for anyone joining the WAB family?
Just be yourself. Our team is so diverse but we are super inclusive. Don’t shy away from being your true self. WAB is such a welcoming and accepting place.
Also, really grasp the opportunity you have to constantly try exciting and creative new things.
