What does this partnership mean?
As of May 2022, when a customer makes a purchase online at Freddy, they will have the ability to select one out of three different causes that matters most to them and Freddy will donate $1 of their purchase to their selected cause. With every purchase made online, our customers know that they are contributing in a purposeful way to give back to the community.
How did Freddy choose which causes to support?
For us, it is important that everything we do in our business aligns with not only our vision and mission but also with our customers and team members. We are a people centric business, so of course we thought it was extremely important to the ask our team and our customers what matters most to them when it came to giving back to communities around the world. We put out a survey to our customers on Social Media and held a number of internal focus groups to discuss what matters to our team and to talk through the insights coming through from our customers. As a result, we were able to select three causes we wanted to back.

Is there anything else the company is doing to give back to the community?
For a number of years, We Are Brands and Freddy have supported a number of different causes including the Australian Bushfire Appeal, Jeans for Genes and the Breast Cancer Foundation. We have run exclusive in store events and online offers to help raise money and awareness for these causes.
This year we are also looking at ways in which our team can volunteer their time during work hours as a way to give back our time to vulnerable communities also.
